Natural mirrors

One of the largest natural mirrors in the world is in Bolivia. The area is located in southwest Bolivia near the Andes Mountains.

This is actually a white salt lake or desert.

The evaporation of this lake has created a thick layer of salt over thousands of years.

As such, it is the world’s largest salt region.

During the summer, the area becomes a salt and dry desert, a major source of lithium and salt. Seventy percent of the world’s lithium comes from this region. In the rainy season, this salt desert turns into an extraordinary mirror. Where the earth and the sky come together and the image of the sky on the lake makes the sky appear twice in the area. The reflection of the sky on the surface of the desert produces very eye-catching and extraordinary effects.

There is also a natural mirror in Iran that is unknown for various reasons. This beautiful natural phenomenon is located in the province of Kerman, near the town of Babak, called the Mangareh Lake. Some have called the lake the natural mirror of Bolivia in Iran. To see this natural mirror, you must travel to the area before the month of September begins. You will then be faced with a vast and extensive salt marsh.
