Mirror at home

We first mention the names of different types of mirrors and their role in the home.
Mirror types:

1- You can put it on the shelf.

2-You can put it On the wall.

3- You can put in the pocket.

Mirror is a device that everybody need it.

In every place where human beings live, there is definitely a mirror in that place. There is a mirror in a variety of shapes and designs. Providing it depends on the ardor of each family.

In some houses, there is also a kind of mirror that its frame like a picture frame .

 

Mirror at home

In the past, Shelf mirrors were more likely to be placed on Shelf or Heater, which be used when necessary. The Shelf mirrors in the home were superior to the wall mirror, because the Shelf mirror added to the beauty and decorated the home. They put their Shelf mirror on the floor when the didn’t have Heater or like that. In the past, females when used the mirror, they put a white cloth on their mirrors to protect it from dusts.

Wall mirrors

The mirrors on the wall were in two types:

A kind of mirror with metal or wood and plastic frames, such mirrors having their own mounting place and were placed in the wall by a nail or yarn.

The second type of wall mirror was mirror without frame. They put this mirrors on the wall with plaster.

Some of the people put their mirrors in the wall so The size of the space where the mirror was installed inside, made a space for put a comb. In general, we use the mirrors in the houses and rooms for the adornment and beauty of the home, will attract the attention of each will attract the attention of each enthusiastic person.

Home mirror uses

After going to bed and after washing hands and face or taking ablutions and after doing any work at home,  they go in front of the mirror and see their beauty.

The role of the mirror in new homes

Iranians when move to a new home at the first, things that they put in their homes before home appliances are mirror and  Quran.

The entrance of the mirror to the new home was a sign of goodness and brightness .

In some places, in some of the Newly made houses, the part of the houses that were built as Heater was seen a part of the Heater with a large mirror, known as the “Jam”, which was a full-length mirror.
